LCAx Compare
LCAx Compare is a tool for the LCA practitioner to compare and inspect LCA projects.
The idea behind LCAx Compare is to give everyone access to the benefits of the LCAx library. The core of LCAx is a common data structure and converters from other tools to that format.
With LCAx Compare where users can:
- Convert LCAbyg and RealTimeLCA projects to LCAx
- Compare the impacts of the converted projects
- Let you inspect the contents of the projects

Validation Engine
LCAx v3.0 comes with a validation engine.
The validation engine performs checks on LCAx projects based on inputted rules.
That allows you to carry out automated QA of your LCA projects.
You can validate that:
- All EPDs live up to a certain standard e.g. EN15804+A2
- Classification is applied to all assemblies.
- The correct life cycle modules are included
and many more things, because you can define your own checks and rules.
LCAx is Open Source
LCAx is licenced under Apache 2.0, which means that you can freely use and include it in your own projects.
