New 3‑day Python course in Copenhagen – early bird now open
I’m opening early bird tickets for the next in‑person Python for Architects and Engineers course:
This time in Copenhagen: 22nd – 24th of April 2026.
If you’ve been wanting to get into Python, but felt most resources or courses move too fast, this one is designed for you.
This is for you if…
You want a hands‑on introduction to Python where you will learn the basics.
By the end of the three days, you’ll be comfortable writing your own small scripts – for example to automate Excel workflows or build useful tools for Grasshopper.
A beginner‑friendly 3‑day course in Copenhagen
The course is designed for people working in the AEC industry:
- Architects
- Engineers
- Other professionals who work with data, Excel, Grasshopper or automation
- Complete beginners to programming are very welcome
Don’t worry. You don’t need any previous coding experience – just curiosity and your own laptop.
We’ll meet in person in Copenhagen over three days, from 9:00 to 16:00 each day.
The exact venue will be confirmed closer to the date.
New for 2026: Extended to 3 days
Based on feedback from earlier courses, I’ve extended the format to three full days so that:
- The learning curve is more gradual
- There is more time for exercises and questions
- We can go a bit deeper without anyone feeling rushed
- The goal is that you leave confident enough to write your own small scripts – for example to automate tasks in Grasshopper or to replace repetitive Excel workflows.
What we’ll cover
Over the three days, we’ll move from fundamentals to practical AEC applications:
- Core programming concepts and Python basics
- Working with data, lists and dictionaries
- Functions, loops, logic and error handling
- Using Python with Excel
- Using Python with Grasshopper
- A small mini‑project to tie it all together
- A short intro to tools like Git and GitHub so you know where to go next
Small group, lots of support
To keep the atmosphere informal and give everyone time for individual help, the course is limited to 8 participants.
This makes it possible to:
- Ask questions in plenum
- Get 1‑on‑1 help during exercises
- Move at a pace where people can actually follow along
