Robust conversion between LCAx and other software is a cornerstone in LCAx's value proposition.

Therefore, we want to expand the current functionality to be able to convert between some of the most used LCA software.

• LCAx <-> LCAByg
  LCAByg is probably the most widely use LCA calculation software on the Danish market. For that reason we want to provide native conversion between LCAx and LCAByg.
• EPDx <-> ILCD+EPD
  ILCD+EPD is the European Commission's format for EPDs and widely used as a data structure in Europe. That is why we want to support conversion between EPDx and ILCD+EPD.
• EPDx <-> openEPD
  openEPD is the underlying format for the many EPDs in @Building Transparency's EC3 tool. Integrating with openEPD will open up the door for working with EPDs outside of Europe.
• Conversion Website
  To make these conversion functionalities more accessible, we are going to make a webpage, where files and data can be converted between the different data formats.
• LCAx Example Library
  We want to create a library of LCAx formatted example projects to show case to users. Videncenter om Bygningers Klimapåvirkninger - VCBK has a library of case buildings that we would like to convert and use as a basis for our LCAx library.
